"Thank you so much! We love all our photographs! We have just watched the DVD for the tenth time! I just want to cry! It makes you remember the tiny bits you've forgotten and the precious moments you will never have again! Just amazing!" Rachael and Steven

What is a Pre Wedding Shoot

What is a pre wedding shoot?
A pre wedding photo shoot is a chance for you to get together with us as your wedding photographers prior to your wedding day.  We meet on location at a lovely venue for a fun relaxing, getting to know you portrait session and a chat over a coffee or glass of wine.

What is the purpose of it?
It is a chance for you to get to know us and us to get to know you and how comfortable you feel about having your photo taken.
It is also a chance to chat about your wedding day and go through the timings of the day and the group shots that are unique to you as a couple.  We will give you a checklist to guide you.

When?
We usually book your pre-wedding shoot for an early evening during the week about 6 weeks prior to your wedding day (weddings usually prevent us from doing the shoot at weekends but sometimes we are able to schedule them for a Sunday).

Where?
We will suggest a venue but if you have somewhere that is special to the two of you, let us know!

What shall we wear for the photo shoot?
Wear whatever you are comfortable in – normally casual clothes with colours that co-ordinate with each other work well.

A word of warning!
Most couples tell me they are nervous about having their photographs taken – so if that’s how you feel, you are not alone!  The good news is, after the shoot, all couples tell me that they have really enjoyed the experience and want to do it again!  Oh and it is only me, Jan, that comes along to your pre-wedding portrait session as we feel one photographer is enough on this occasion!

So all you need to do now is BOOK US and relax!

  1. This is very interesting post on Pre Wedding Shoot. Nowadays it has become a trend and everyone wants to have it. We would be tying the knot at some destination NYC wedding venues and planning to hire a local photographer for covering our pre wedding shoot.

    1. I think you are right, it is a trend, but I think a really useful one for the couple and the photographer too.
